"Get Printers" Pre-flight check, and how it relates to Offline USMT

SCCM 2012 SP1/MDT 2012 Update 1.

I am working on an XP->7 migration task sequence that presents the user with a UDI wizard under Windows XP, then reboots and installs Windows 7, using Offline USMT with hardlinks.

I have been reading about the lack of network printer migration support for offline migrations under USMT, but in the UDI wizard there is a pre-flight check that 'gets printers.'  Does this relate to the migration of printers in any way? Do I still need to handle my printer migration in a seperate .xml file (I am trying out this one: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1946-network-printers-not-migrating-in-offline-mode/#entry6625).
