Sorry about the long title..!
We are having all ouy systems delivered with our Prestaged Gold Image applied. However, the prestaged image on the systems when its time to provision them can be out of data due to the machines sitting in storage at the manufacture or on our site.
Our techies have to manaully delete the disk or boot with SCCM Boot media to force the new image to be downlaoed and applied.
Does anyone know of a way that some logic can be pout into the task seqeunce to detect an out of date prestaged image and then force the upto date imnage to be downloaded and applied from the distribution points. ?
I have managed so far to create steps that detect the existence of a prestaged image and aslo to detect the gold Image version by using a txt file added at the time of build of the gold image, upon detction the disk is formated but the Apply OS step fails...
the logs rseem to report back that ther task seqeunce is still looking for the prestaged image... :-(
Any help will be great..
