Update existing drivers

Hi

I have a production task sequence which I am using to deliver Windows x64 along with core applications, drivers etc.   Currently I import the Wireless drivers and assign them to a driver package ie Lenovo X230 Wirless drivers.  In the task sequence I am using the Auto Apply Drivers task to install the drivers.  It is working well but I am now in the position where I need to update the wireless drivers I am delivering in the task sequence.  As my task sequence is currently in Production and we are in the middle of deployment I want to create a second task sequence which I can use to test the updated wireless drivers.  With this in mind what is the best way to import the new drivers and apply them in my new task sequence without it having any impact on task sequence 1 ?  If I import the new drivers and assign them to an existing category ie Lenovo X230 but add them to a new driver package ieLenovo X230 Wireless drivers Jan 2014 will this leave the existing drivers as they are so Task Sequence 1 continues to work ?  If so I could then copy Task Sequence 1, call it Task Sequence 2, install the drivers using theAuto Apply Drivers task as I currently do but use the apply driver packageto install the Lenovo X230 Wireless drivers Jan 2014 package afterwards.  Is this correct ?

Thanks

G
