stand alone media and bitlocker

 I already have a working ts that enables bitlocker. It works very well when using pxe deployment. We were also able to deploy this task sequence using stand alone media(we use usb in this case). But we have noticed one problem after the build using stand alone media. If we remove the usb from the machine, it keeps on asking as to enter the recovery key every time we reboot the machine. Is this behavior normal or there was something wrong with our task sequence? We are saving our recovery key in AD and we are using TPM only
