I am imaging 38 HP Probook 650 G1. I created boot media on a DVD and a USB the same way. My task sequence runs just fine when I use the boot media DVD however when I use the USB thumb drive I get the error 0x80070032. The next batch of laptops will not have DVD\CD drives so I need to use USB. According to the other articles I have read on here and the smsts.log file it has to do with the partition being a FAT32 so I followed the other articles and used DISKPART to clean it I even went as far as creating them with NTSF partitions however I still get the same error. All my USB ports are 3.0 I have tried different USB ports and 4 different USB thumb drives 2 of them USB 3 and 2 of them USB 2. I have also tried 3 different laptops out of the box. If it is a problem with a FAT32 partition then it should have been resolved when I cleaned the drive or set them up manually as NTSF. either way it should not have worked with my DVD drive if it was a problem with the client hard drive partition but it does.
