We are currently using SCCM 2012 R2 with UDI OSD. I have Acrobat Pro 11.0.6 in SCCM with no deployments. Acrobat Pro 11.0.7 is in SCCM, set to supersede 11.0.6 (for use in upgrading 11.0.6 to 11.0.7 in our environment), and deployed to our application collection that is available to the UDI. Even though only 11.0.7 is the only Acrobat on the UDI page, I found that 11.0.6 will be downloaded to the cache during OSD.
Since Acrobat uses the same product code in both 11.0.6 and 11.0.7 I have a detection rule for each using the product code, and version equal to their respective version number. Supersedence is set to uninstall 11.0.6 so 11.0.7 can be installed. Looking through AppEnforce.log it seems that 11.0.6 is uninstalling during OSD, which makes no sense since it's not included in our image.
I did find a post about someone having the exact same issue, but they didn't have a solution http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/d552ee47-8d5c-4a63-a637-0698298878e0/application-supersedence-download-cache I'm hoping someone may have a fix by this time. Thanks.
