adding drivers to a boot.wim

I wanted to add drivers to my a boot.wim.   I went to the drivers I wanted, right clicked and picked boot image.

then I picked the boot image I wanted to update.

the source location for this highlighted boot image is \\servername\d$\OSD\Bootwims\mdtbootwim     After I performed the steps above the date/time stamp in my boot.wim did Not change.   Why?

I was then going to update the DP and it shows you a list of everything it will deploy.  The drives I picked in the steps above were not present.   Why?

how do I add drivers to a boot.wim from the GUI?   or do you have to do it from a dism command line?
