I've been having a lot of difficulties getting a Lenovo X1 Carbon to build our properly in our CM2012 environment. I thought I had it working. I got all the required drivers and I was able to PXE boot up. I started my task sequence. It did the following.
format c:\, apply OS, apply X1 carbon drivers. Install the CM2012 client. Then it started to install software. It installed a few apps and then died. I got the SMSTS.LOG and using cmtrace it has so much RED inside I got dizzy. I opened up a CMD windows and typed in IPCONFIG and I have no IP address at all. yet, it was right in the middle of a software install.
How could it start to install software and then all of a sudden drop the IP? I know the PORTS are fine in my office and I use them to build other machines (desktop and Dell laptops)
Any insight would be great.
