So far I've been through 3 versions of SCCM (2012, 2012 SP1, and 2012 R2) and this I've been struggling with this issue through all 3. PXE boot will ONLY work with the boot image from the ADK.. the boot image from the SCCM install doesn't boot and the boot image created from MDT 2013 doesn't work. When the new machine tried to boot from it, it either hangs before it ever gets to the splash screen or I get a blue screen that says there are no valid operating systems (or something to that effect).
Had anyone else dealt with this? I'd like to try the Dell System Deployment Toolkit which provides its own boot image for bare-metal deployments onto Dell servers, but if my previous track record is anything to go by, it ain't gonna work.
For background: I did have "Deploy this boot image from the PXE-enabled distribution point" checked, it was successfully distributed to the DP, and I had a task sequence associate with that boot image deployed to "all unknown computers."
I've had to remove them all to get PXE booting to work, so right now I only have the basic boot image from the ADK distributed and deployed.
