Coming across the all too familiar "Content not found" while doing some offline servicing.

OfflineServicingMgr.log:

Mounting image at index 1. Image file='D:\ConfigMgr_OfflineImageServicing\LFT001E3\Win7x64.v2.wim', MountDirectory='D:\ConfigMgr_OfflineImageServicing\LFT001E3\ImageMountDir', ImageFileType='WIM', Mode='ReadWrite'
Image OS information : MajorVersionMS = 6, MinorVersionMS = 1, MajorVersionLS = 7601, MinorVersionLS = 18015
Content 'ae43c260-0fae-466a-9234-14c85989133f' not found in content library on this site. Software updates should be distributed to this site.
UnMounting Image (Commit Changes = 0) ...
Completed processing image package LFT001E3. Status = Failed

I've been digging in other posts here and across the web. All to no avail. So here's the break down.

CM12 - Primary
CM12DP - Site DP
Y:\ - Mapped network folder pointing to source content.

I downloaded a batch of updates that i wanted to add to an image. We'll follow just one of those updates. This information is pulled from a custom SSRS report.
Article ID: 2823180
Title: Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2823180)
UpdateID: dd36d0c3-c994-41db-b6b6-ebbbd54cef33
ContentID: ae43c260-0fae-466a-9234-14c85989133f

Did a search of the ContentID in the source folders (where i downloaded the update package to)
Y:\WSUS\AllWin7x64v51414\ae43c260-0fae-466a-9234-14c85989133f\windows6.1-kb2809900-x64.cab

so we know that it downloaded OK.

The package has already been sent to the DP. So to now search in CM12DP
C:\SCCMContentLib\DataLib\ae43c260-0fae-466a-9234-14c85989133f\windows6.1-kb2809900-x64.cab.INI
C:\SCCMContentLib\DataLib\ae43c260-0fae-466a-9234-14c85989133f.INI
C:\SCCMContentLib\PkgLib\LFT001BB.INI

Truncated contents of LFT001BB.INI:

[Packages] ae43c260-0fae-466a-9234-14c85989133f= [Info] Flags=16777216

So with all this information put together, in theory, everything should be right in the world and the Offline Service should pick up that the content is in fact available with content source known.

Database knows it has a content ID
Site knows where the source is since it pushed out to the DP
DP knows it has the files

So what am I missing?

If the box doesn't fit, think out of it.
