I have a working task sequence for my clients touch screen tablets but would like to add more features such as the ability to name the system during the TS and the ability to join the domain and install applications at the end.
Since I don't currently have the touch screen driver installed on the boot image we are doing a zero touch task sequence. Everything works great. Installs the image, configures the image, installs the correct driver package for the device etc. Reboots and at this time ask for the local wifi information. Which we can now enter since we have the touch screen driver installed during the TS.
What I am looking for is something like the OSDCOMPUTERNAME variable that we use in other TS and then to add the Join Domain piece after it picks up the network connection. My only problem is getting the touch screen to work before to add the value of the system if we use OSDCOMPUTERNAME variable.
Any suggestions?
