Bizarre PXE Boot issues

Morning All,

Having HUGE issues with PXE booting in my environment!  Driving me to distraction and would appreciate a second glance from any of you guys who have great experience in this field.

Scenario:

1 x AD Site

1 x Site Server

1 x PXE enabled DP with DHCP installed

All Servers 2008 R2 Std x64 SP1 VM's

Keep finding the following repeated in my SMSPXE.log everytime a client tries to PXE boot:

Have tried all sorts to fix this! Removed and re-installed the DP both with WDS and without WDS installed.  Tried pre-configuring WDS before re-enabling PXE on the DP to no avail.  Always the same sequence of errors in the log.  Have read many posts already on this and I have pretty much tried of my own back what they have suggested through a logical process of elimination.  Have set the WDS server up just with WDS and this was able to receive clients fine.

Checked to ensure all the SMSBoot\x86, etc is populated which is appears to be all in order.  Needless to say that the service fires up OK

Have tried with and without Option 66 & 67 set.  Pretty sure it's not a network issue as when i point 66 back at my old environment it serves the client as expected.

The Distribution point is serving clients with software packages as normal, just the PXE

It's probably something I've over looked but i can't think what.  Error code suggests access violation/access denied!? but I've set a site wide network access account which is Domain Admin and can see all resources.

I've checked out the SQL perms/roles on site server (SQL 2008 R2 std) and smsdbrole_PSP no longer exists as it did in 2007 R3, not sure if this could have some bearing over the situation as my hunch is that the WDS/PXE process is unable to contact or read data in the site database but i'm seriously desperate and open to any suggestions you have at this point.

I think i've actually aged another 2 years trying to sink this issue - thanks in advance guys

HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!! :¬)
