Just wondering if anyone has had any experience using USMT to migrate the offline files cache in Windows 7?
The scanstate process is currently able to see and process files in the cache, but when it comes to the loadstate, I get messages in the log file saying:
V2VArbitrate: Source Migration unit <system>\Microsoft-Windows-OfflineFiles-Core (CCSIAgent) is not supported on the destination machine and it will not be restored.
There is not a lot of information on this out there on the internet, with tonnes of blog posts explaining how easy it is to capture, but not a single piece of info on the restore.
The strange this is, that this process works 100% when the USMT 4 toolkit is used.
Details:
- Migration parameter has been set in the registry
- CSCMig.DLL is present in the USMT package
- Offline Files is enabled by GPO on both source and destination machine
