I’ve got a client that goes through the OSD process without any issues. I then patched this same machine with all the Windows 7 updates. I created a Task Sequence to capture the WIM on this particular client, which captured the WIM file without any issues. I then went back into the console to Add New Operating System Image, that WIM is now in the console and the distribution points have been updates two times. Once last night and then once this morning. I then change my OSD Task Sequence to use the new updated WIM file. I can get the client machine to PXE boot go into the winpe environment start the initial Windows 7 x64 New Build Task Sequence. It shows the normal Config Manager Window “Running action: Apply Operating System and Downloading Captured_Win7SP1.wim goes to the whole 100%. Then says “Applying image 1 from Captured_Win7SP1.wim to volume C:\”; the client restarts and then I get this wonderful message:
“An operating system wasn’t found. Try disconnecting any drives that don’t contain an operating system. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart”
Exactly like the last screenshot from this link:

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
