Hello.
We have SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 CU1 (5.00.8239.1203) but these issues started before the SP1 update was applied. Before SP1 we were on R2 CU5 (5.00.7958.1604).
The problem we have is that on some occasions we hit issues in OSD task sequences when applying driver packages. Usually re-creating the driver package fixes the issue but in this one instance on an IBM Thinkpad X200 it has not.
The OS wim downloads and applies but then when it gets to the driver issue I see this in the smsts.log from X:\WINDOWS\Temp\SMSTSLog\smsts.log and the earlier smsts.log.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can get this working? It is a bit hit and miss and isn't on all models so not sure what the cause could be.
I have tried updating the DP but this hasn't helped. It looks to me like the system is unable to download the drivers to apply them. I have checked there is a disk recognized in PE and there is (the WIM downloads and applies without issue).
Is it permissions on the driver package location? Any help greatly appreciated
PS - it seems to be trying to get the drivers from a DP outside of the boundary for the IP address. This shouldn't happen right?
