Tying to image a new Dell E7240. The NIC it uses is the Intel Ethernet I217-LM
The latest NIC driver from Intel is in my Boot Image as well as driver package.
After imaging and Windows is done installing and configuring config manager client, the task sequence fails. Once I finally get into Windows, I notice the the NIC driver is missing, which makes no sense cuz I know it part of the driver package and is the same driver...same files, same location, same everything...as in the boot image.
To get it work, I copied the drivers to a flash drive, and manually updated the driver from within device manager. Low and behold the driver installs and works fine, yet registers with the model I218-LM
This is may not be SCCM related but was hoping someone else may have similar experience.
